still working at Kidspeace. recently became fulltime. yay for insurance and paid vacation.
men suck. which is the story of my life. oh well
have a new neice and a new nephew.
thats... about it. school, work, DZ. thats life.

In other news, I work at kidspeace. its a residential mental health facility for teenagers in crisis.

so life thus far this semester kinda sucked. But it is getting better. I finally resigned myself to the fact that Isiah (the football player) was an asshole. But its all good because that whole thing resulted in me making several new friends.
I've been talking to one of the DTD's (fraternity on campus) lately. He was really nice at first, and I honestly just want to be friends. He keeps bringing sex into the conversation, though, even while he's trying to get back together with his ex. I told him I wasnt going to sleep with him, that I dont do casual sex.. which worked for all of about 5 minutes.
Formal was AMAZING!!!!! I had such a good time. Originally, I was going to go to the TKE (fraternity) formal, but stuff happened and I didnt end up going. So I went to my formal with a friend. It was great.
lets see.. what else.. Oh yeah! I'm going to be staying around here this summer. I'll be living in Theta Chi, one of the fraternity houses, for the summer (and maybe the fall too). It should be fun. And I finally have a car, so I'll be able to get a real job.
So I met this amazing guy. I've actually know him for awhile. I thought he was cute and everything, but he had a girlfriend. So we flirted a little when I was at the house, and we talked about Bio, since we're in the same class (not that we ever went to class on the same days). But anyways. His gf broke up with him last week. Since then, we've been talking alot more. I love that I can talk to him forever and we never run out of things to say. I talked to him for about 6 hours last night, until 5am.. We could've/would've talked longer, but the phone battery was dying and we did need to get some sleep. I could not stop smiling last night.
Other than that, lifes pretty good. Joe and I are talking again. I'm going to miss him sooo much next semester when he's in new york. Di (my roommate) and I are going to drive out and visit him sometime in the fall.
I'm graduating next may. One more year of college:)

I want my boyfriend.
I also want a hug. I was crying earlier (long story) and my neice was so cute. Shes only 3, but she crawled up on my lap and gave me a hug and a kiss and said "dont cry auntie. its ok"
I want to be done with college. I want to have a house and a husband and a baby. Grrr...Oh well
Yeah..this is kinda depressing.
Happier note: My sister gave me a new belly button ring today. Not that I dont already have a trillion, but new ones are always nice.
I'm not going to make cheesecake for anyone if they dont want one, so Mel, Lindz, Land, Jon, Etc. Lemme know if you want one, and whether you want cherry, apple, strawberry, blueberry or plain.

Am I really that bad of a judge of character? 'cuz I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. I'm sitting here, missing my friends and wishing I'm back at MSSM working summer camps with all of them, and all of a sudden I find out they were only nice to me because they felt bad about last year, and because I was around. Now that they dont see me every day, they've decided to reinvent themselves for college, and obviously being nice to someone out of pity doesnt fall into those plans.
Thanks, but no thanks. I dont need or want your pity. Had I know why you were really being nice to me, I would have told you a long time ago to take a flying leap. Any of you who are only being nice to me because you feel bad that I was in the hospital for cutting my wrists last year, that I let a stupid prick of an RA take advantage of me, that I had to leave MSSM. GO FUCK YOURSELVES. I dont need or want friends like you. Some of you even went so far as to claim I was one of your best friends. WHen in reality, you actually had no one else to hang out with, and as soon as you got a girlfriend and made some new friends, some you actually like for who they are, then you didnt need me any more and you started acting like an asshole. Simply asking me to leave you alone would've sufficed. Instead you choose to ignore me, and then insult me and upset me in front of a bunch of my future classmates simply because I assumed we were friends at graduation and so we would still be friends a month of so later.
I makes me cry when I think about how I spent 2 or 3 years hanging out with Land, Skylar, Becca B, Justin, Alex, Brian, Etc. because I stupidly thought that you being nice meant you were my friends. Now, after wasting all that time, I find friends in people like Ellie, Mike P, Meghan F, people I didnt make an effort to get to know because I assumed I had a rather solid circle of friends who would support me if I needed them.
Maybe I should take a page out of skylar's book and "reinvent" myself for college. Anyone who was onyl friends with me because I was there and they felt bad, feel free to let me know. Anyone who actually wants to be my friend for who I am, e-mail me. Apparently I'm a bit short on friends at the moment.

*huge smiles* I spent saturday and Sunday with Joe. mmm..soo much fun. well, cleaning off his front porch wasnt fun, but attacking him with the hose and stuff was. It seems like its been more than 9 days since graduation. Ugh.
So I'm going to change my major from secondary education to psychology, methinks....It will make things easier in the long run. Everyone keeps telling me to major in bio. yuk.
I'm going to go unpack my stuff, and perhaps highlight my hair before dinner.

I finally got my dress. its pink and white. and pretty.
unfortunately, my happiness over the dress is brought down by the fact that people think just because they got a full ride to a nice college and got to go on vacation during school, they can take over everything. If you know someone is in charge of something, and you are upset/unsure about the progress of it, ASK THEM!!!!Dont assume that you can take over someone else's project simply because you think you can do it better.
And especially, dont badmouth that person and their work in front of their friends...All you're doing is making yourself look bad.
My arms and legs are sore, but its a good sore, from 2 days of working out:)
I got into Roger Williams with a $10,000 scholarship and automatic entry into the university honors program.

Easter break was awesome. I went to Joe's house, and was kinda lazy the whole time. We saw Ms. Congeniality 2....not worth the money. Joe's mom is nice, despite rumors to the contrary. And his little brother (the youngest one, Sam) is adorable...and he helped me tickle-attack Joe, which earned him bonus points.
And I got chocolate! Which is a huge Kudos for his mom and grandmother. Canadian chocolate too:):)
I should go be constructive now. Everyone buy prom tickets!

I already have a dress like #6, and it also has the beading/sequins that irritate the skin.
#1 is out because it is $178..and its too sparkly
#4 only comes in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and would require too much alteration
#5 is too poofy
so....#3, by default because it has straps, which are a bit of a necessaty in holding the dress up. #7 second choice.
